Credits & billing

How translation minutes are counted

Each language counts. Every target language you enable consumes its own translation minutes. If you speak for 1 minute with 5 languages selected, that uses 5 minutes of credit.
10 free minutes to try. New accounts start with 10 free translation minutes — enough to test a couple of languages end-to-end before upgrading.
Credits don't roll over. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing month and reset with your next cycle. Unused minutes do not carry forward.

Auto-stop safeguards

To protect your credits if you walk away or close your laptop, every live session will automatically end when any of these happen:

10 minutes of silence. If no speech is detected for 10 minutes while the mic is on, the session ends automatically.
3 hour maximum. Any single session is capped at 3 hours. Start a new one if your event runs longer.
Tab closed or device asleep. Closing the host tab or putting your device to sleep ends the session so credits stop being used.

You can always end a session manually with the End session button.
