For classrooms

Every student follows along, in the language they think in

Newcomer students shouldn't have to wait months to engage with a lesson. vonal turns any classroom into a multilingual one—without changing your curriculum, your pace, or your mic.

The problem teachers actually face

A typical mainstream classroom can have students from three, five, sometimes ten language backgrounds. Pull-out ESL time helps, but most of the school day still happens in the regular room. Students who can't yet follow the teacher fall behind on content while they're learning the language—a double penalty that's hard to claw back.

How vonal fits the school day

Teachers start a session at the beginning of class. Students join with a QR code from their school device and pick their language. As you teach, captions appear in real time, and audio translation plays through earbuds for students who learn better by listening. When class ends, the transcript is there for review and homework.

Where it works well

A tool, not a replacement

vonal is meant to lower the barrier to participation, not to replace language instruction or trained interpreters for IEPs and other formal settings. Used well, it gives newcomer students a way to keep learning content while they build the language to do it on their own.
